Funerals

Sadly life doesn’t last for ever, though we believe that there is another dimension to life that we have yet to experience. Helping loved ones through a time of bereavement is fundamental to what our church is here for. We have a tranquil Churchyard which is available to those who live here or have done, as a final resting place. If your wish is not for burial here, then funeral services or a memorial service may take place within our special spiritual space and comforting surroundings.

Lord,

we know that You are the God who comforts us. We pray that You provide a time of comfort and rest for those whose hearts are hurting right now. Hold them in Your embrace, Father. Wrap them in Your love and remind them that though they may have lost someone dear, they are not alone, for You are with them. Bring to them the hope of Your unfailing love and ease their sadness. Soothe their heartache as they lean on You for comfort and guidance. We pray that their grief heals smoothly, for You will be with them every step of the way. May they hold on to You for strength, hope, and sustenance.
