Exploring Christian Faith
No-one is born a Christian - some-one who gives their life to serving and following the living Jesus Christ, in the power of His Holy Spirit. We choose to do so....or not. This is a choice based on examining the evidence available. We do not encourage people to have what has been called a 'blind faith', but rather a faith that is sure of its foundational facts.
And you can't 'guess' what Christian faith is all about. It's too counter-intuitive for that. With loads of false myths knocking around about what it is or isn't! Like most things worth having or learning in life, it needs to be explored, taught and coached.
People decide to explore Christian faith and who Jesus is for all sorts of reasons:

Genuinely wanting to know what the adult version of Christianity is all about (perhaps after some off-putting experiences when younger?!).

Becoming dissatisfied with their current way of life and wanting something more fulfilling.

Having a spiritual experience of some sort and wanting it to be explained.
Asking the bigger questions of life like 'Is there a God?' or 'Why am I here?'.

Due to grief or difficulties and wanting some outside help.

Because a relative or friend has inspired us to think about it more?

Because the kids are asking big questions and if we're honest we don't really know the answers to tell them!

We've been to church a few times and are intrigued!

Anything else!

If you are wanting to find out a bit more about what the Christian faith is and what it involves, we encourage you to explore it further.
